Sweep was born in 2001 and passed away in 2016. Sweep was one of a kind. Sweep was bred by Wilda Bahr out of her great combo Mirk and Val. Sweep was fairly loose eyed, and forward. Sweep was an extremely brave dog, who could move anything with ease. Sweep had a great ability to read sheep Sweep ran at the nationals in the Nursery as a long yearling where he placed 6th. at the finals. Sweep went on to later place 11th. in 2008 in the Open at the National Finals. Sweep made the final round at Soldier Hollow on 2 occasions and the semi finals at Meeker winning the first go round. Sweep was tough to run as I had to be on my game due to his forward presence. He was a blast to have on the trial string; when dogs struggled to keep the sheep forward I knew it was Sweep's day! Sweep was a genuine gentleman to live with, we have certainly missed him since he left us! Sweep bred great to Jesse, which is the foundation to many of the dogs in my kennel. I will forever be in debt to Wilda Bahr for selling me this great pup!
