Zippo 09/09/1998 - 09/02/2012

Zippo was a pup off my first dog Maime. Zippo was the first dog I trained from puppy to open. Made plenty of mistakes along the way, but there has been no better dog, with more sheep sense than Zippo. His first love was ranching trialing was a secondary hobby for him. He knew more about sheep than most. A shearing partner, lesson partner, and trial partner. Zippo throughout his career ran in the most prestigious trials. Soldier Hollow, Meeker, and the National finals 3 times! Zippo had been retired since the age of 12. A bad shoulder injury on a trial field shortened his career a bit...an injury so severe the ortho wasn't certain of his future. Zippo was determined to go back to work and he did!! Zippo will be missed very much. An old dog vestibular stroke in the end is what happened to Zippo, although after the stroke he did recover it shortened his life quite a bit. No longer able to get around as he should. We decided it was time. We miss zippo and love him very much.

K9znewe"Pearl" 08/04/2010 - 11/27/2011

Hard to find strength in a broken heart. Pearl was quite the girl. Advanced on her sheep, and an easy girl to live with. Pearl was my pick out of the last and final Jesse x Sweep litter.

Tragically we lost "P-Pod" in an accident on the ranch; too young to go. Will never forget the time I spent on the field with her. She will be in my heart forever.
